MDTA Missouri State Dance Competition - Feb 25, 2017 - St Charles, MO
The Ray-Pec Prowlers will compete at the MDTA's 2017 Missouri State Dance Contest on Saturday, February 25, 2017, with the solo contest taking place on the evening of Friday, February 24, 2017. The team contest on the 25th will be held at The Family Arena in St. Charles, Missouri. The location of the solo contest is to be determined. Results will be forthcoming. Prowlers Competing at the NDA National Championship, March 3-5, 2017, in Orlando, Florida
For the second year in a row, the Prowlers will be one of over 2,400 Dancers to compete for an NDA National Championship title at the HARD ROCK LIVE in Orlando. The journey begins at NDA Summer Camp where teams learn new material and prepare for the school year ahead. During their preparation, teams can earn a bid to the championship and compete head-to-head against programs from across the nation and even overseas. Teams that finish first earn the esteemed title of NDA National Champion, the golden trophy, a large banner to display in their schools, and all team members receive a letterman jacket and patch. FRIDAY, MARCH 3rd, Preliminary Competition will begin at 8:00am. The following division categories preliminary competition may take place on Friday: JHMS - Jazz; JV - Hip Hop, Kick, Pom; SV - Hip Hop, Jazz, Kick, Team Performance; MV - Hip Hop, Pom, Team Performance; Large Varsity - Jazz, Kick, Pom, Team Performance. SATURDAY, MARCH 4th Preliminary competition continues for all remaining division categories in the Hard Rock Live. Final competition for select Friday division categories will be held this evening. SUNDAY, MARCH 5th Final competitions and award ceremonies take place for all divisions. Ray-Pec Prowlers: Results from Jan 21, 2017 19th Annual Lee's Summit North Regional Competition
Our Ray-pec Prowlers Dance Team was among 68 schools competing Jan 21st at the LSN Regional Competion. The Varsity Prowlers placed 5th for their Jazz routine and 6th for their pom routine. The JR squad placed 1st for the mix routine and 5th for their jazz routine. Advanced Clinic
Thank you to everyone who came to our advanced clinic Feb 8th!! We had girls ranging from the 5th grade to 11th grade. This clinic is an effort to help dancers prepare for auditions for the high school dance team in the next couple of years! Varsity received 3rd Place in Jazz and 3rd Place in Pom. They also received the Innovative Choreography Award for their Jazz. JV received 1st in Lyrical and 1st in Mix. JV was the Overall High Point winner! Individual Awards: Sadie Harmon and Maddie Phillips placed 4th in the Ensemble category. Congratulations to the 2016-2017 Prowlers!!

Mini Prowler Dance Camp
The Ray-Pec Prowlers dance team held their annual Mini Prowler Dance Camp for girls ages 4 to 15 on Tuesday, Feb. 9. The girls performed during halftime of the varsity girls basketball game on Thursday, Feb. 11.

Success at Regionals Jan 22-23, 2016
On Saturday, January 23rd, the Varsity and Junior Varsity Prowlers competed at the 18th Annual Lee's Summit North [regional] competition. The Varsity Prowlers brought trophies home for their 1st place in Jazz, 2nd Place in Mix and 4th Place in POM. The Varsity team also won an "Outstanding Technique" special judge's award for their Jazz routine. The JV brought home trophies for their 1st place in Mix, 2nd place in Jazz and 3rd place in POM.
Individual Medals went to Taylor Holbrook, Emily Harris, Maddie Johnson, Kaylee Pace, Katelynn Schulze for their solos; Maddie Anthuis received a medal for her duo with Grace Hoffman from Lee's Summit High School.

Congratulations to the Ray-Pec Prowlers for their performance at the KC Classic competition on Dec. 12 at Liberty High School. Junior Varsity placed first in Jazz, first in Mix, and third in Pom and second overall high point in the JV division. Varsity placed first in Mix, second in Pom, fourth in Jazz and second overall high point in the Varsity division.

Prowlers Successful In Bringing Home Awards from the 18th Annual LSN Competition
The Ray-Pec Prowlers were among teams from the state of Missouri, Kansas and surrounding states such as Iowa and Oklahoma who competed at the 18th Annual LSN Dance Competition the weekend of Jan 22-23, 2015. The JV teams brought home a 3rd in Jazz, 3rd in Pom and a 1st Place in Mix.
The Varsity Prowlers placed 2nd in Jazz, 2nd in Mix and 3rd in Pom with a special Technique award for their jazz routine!

Ray-Pec Prowlers Results from Dec 13, 2014 KC Classic
The Ray-Pec Varsity and JV Prowlers Dance Team competed December 13th at Liberty High School in the Kansas City Classic. Both the Varsity and JV squads took 3 routines each and several of the girls will also perform their trios, duos and solos. JV brought home a 1st in Jazz, 2nd in Pom and 2nd in Mix. The Varsity team brought home a 1st in Mix, 4th in Jazz and 3rd in Pom. Varsity also won most entertaining for their Mix dance as well.

RP Cheer will work Tuesday, May 27th between 5-9pm RP Cheer program will receive 20% of sales. No tickets necessary, No names to keep track of! Just buy snow cones! Cheerleaders will be there to help keep the area clean for everyone!

Prowlers Partner with LSW Dance Team For Cancer Awareness
The Prowlers dance team was invited to attend the Ray-Pec Varsity's baseball game on Monday, April 21 at Lee's Summit West High School for the cancer awareness fundraiser. The Prowlers partnered with the Lee’s Summit West dance team to help sell raffle tickets and collect donations during the game. This year the game is being played in honor of Deann Wehmeyer who lost her battle with Kidney Cancer.
Ray-Pec Spring Showcase
The Prowlers hosted its first ever Ray-Pec Spring Showcase March 30, 2014, with much success! Expressions of appreciation and thanks go to everyone who worked so hard to put this event together as well as everyone who took the time out of their busy scheduled to attend. Appreciation also goes to the 120 performers and their parents from the following local studios: Dancing Plus, Mia’s Elite School of Dance, and The Movement, as well as the following vendors : Scentsy, Beijo Bags, Momo Bands, Origami Owl, Salon Bella, Thirty-One Bags, Heather Cole Photography, BeautiControl, Skirt Along, Sew Beautiful by Kerri and Coffee Bar by Leann.
We continue to be amazed by our families, friends and the Raymore community for their continued support of our dance team!
